Partnership

Hello. C J here. Infinity Game Studios is the next generation publishing house. While I don't hire I am always willing to partner with another brand, individual, or company. This page outlines the partnership process and what it's meant to be used for. Here's what all that means.

Inclusivity

One of Infinity Game Studios' main goals is to create a setting and a series of novels that are inclusive to everyone. All ages and identities are welcome here. Gone are the days where a book aimed at a young audience has to have a teenage protagonist or it isn't allowed to be published. Gone are the times when adults aren't allowed to enjoy child appropriate books because some publisher won't let them. Everyone is welcome here. The books are for everyone, as is the setting they are in.

Spirituality

The company's other main goal is to promote healthy knowledge of real world spirituality and mysticism. The history of planet Earth is fascinating and written in the language of mythology and magic. These are not new terms to the fantasy genre. We borrowed them from those who came before us. Magic is a very real force in then world regardless of whether it's in a modern day novel or an ancient poem. I want every Earth myth and spiritual practice to have a place in the setting I write.

Never Out of Print

My major gripe with the older generation of publishing houses is that they won't reprint a book even if it is popular and would sell well. They pay authors little because quite frankly they don't want them. There's always someone new in line to replace an author if they don't produce a book a year.

As a result I'm running my own printing operation. I'm using a high end laser printer to physically print the pages and I'm hand binding them myself. The printing coats of having a book factory printed for you are often $50 for an 80 page paperback. I've had offers from these people to pay more to print my books at a lower volume with more shipping fees. I'd lose money. Not happening. I can print a 200 page novel for about $1.50. Since I am printing them myself I'm never putting a book out of print. Not ever. 40 years from now you'll still be able to get a copy of The Astral Chronicle Arc One at the same price.

Partnership

Here at Infinity Game Studios I actively promote fan works and fan involvement with the storytelling process. Please at all times feel encouraged to make fan works including art, fiction and music. If you would like to sell your fan works then it's a simple matter of signing up for the Patreon and becoming a partner. The Patreon is a donation funding platform that the entire company runs on in addition to in person product sales.

For $15 a month you have my permission to make and sell any works based on my setting and characters you like. You can use the entire setting as detailed in the novels and the Regency card game. Regency in particular is written to be a guide to use the setting in fan works. There are a few guidelines but otherwise anything goes.

Don't kill a character you don't own.

Don't blow up a planet or location you don't own.

Don't change the magic system.

Adult content is allowed so long as it's respectful to the characters.

The Captain and his crew from The Astral Chrinicle are not recommended for fan works. Other characters from The Astral Chronicle including Sarah and Carter are encouraged for use.

Please send all business inquiries to my business email.

Four New Recipes for January

Hello. C J here. I've got four new recipes for everyone here. We have everything from Chinese chicken to homemade hot apple cider. Enjoy. The Emperor’s Potatoes Here we have the first food item I ever finished designing for Food of the World – Carthia. I tried three combinations of traditional Asian ingredients and pasta under the assumption that I was doing Italian-Chinese food for the book. I could not for the life of me get any of them to be exciting. They were fine. I don’t eat fine. I got bored of the pasta thing and then thought to myself, ‘what happens if I swap the pasta for another starch? What about a potato?’ It worked. Really well. It worked so well I named them The Emperor’s Potatoes. They’re mashed potatoes and I left the skins on because I like vitamins and then that got me thinking about the traditional medicinal food of Ancient China, ginger. Could I put ginger in a potato dish and have it work? Yes. I can. That surprised me. Be warned, these are almost dangerousl...

Recipe - Lemon-Lime Soda

Hello. C J here. I have here a recipe for homemade lemon-lime soda. This beverage is just as sweet as the original brand it’s based on but has actual lemon juice and lime juice in it. It tastes similar but not as acidic. Strangely this recipe worked the first time I made it. It’s mostly glucose syrup, which any chemist with my knowledge of food could make in a home kitchen. The recipe makes four cups, each one to be served over ice. One cup is mostly enough for one person. Ingredients One Cup Sugar One Half Cup Water One Tablespoon Lemon Juice Three Tablespoons Lime Juice Two and a Half Cups Soda Water For the Glucose Syrup Mix the sugar and the water in a medium saucepan. Put over medium heat and stir frequently until the sugar is dissolved and the liquid is clear. It should still be thicker than water. For the Soda Measure out two and a half cups of soda water. Pour into this the glucose syrup in a heat proof one quart measuring cup or other heat proof vessel. Add the lemon juic...

Chocolate and Barbecue Sauce and Truffles Oh My

Hello. C J here. I've got two new recipes for everyone today. I meant to type up a third but for the life of me I can't find the paper index card I wrote it down on. I will have to make it again and post it later once I double check I have the right proportions. I know what's in it but the proportions are done by taste. It's for Asian style ginger baked beans as part of my Asian-barbecue book I'm working on. The book might actually end up being cards for the card game because the recipes are so simple they fit in that format. That makes my job easier. Here's our two recipes for today. The first is a new Asian style barbecue sauce I invented from scratch. This isn't based on an existing sauce. It's the product of a lot of planning and research. It's great. The second recipe is for my final draft scratch made dark chocolate. This stuff is good. I still have some of the batch I made three days ago on hand. It's too tasty to eat. There will be a mil...
