Hello. C J here. A while ago I thought I’d marathon the original Harry Potter movies. I’ve so far gotten through two of them. It’s been almost a year of me trying. They’re long and really action and story heavy. The Harry Potter franchise took the world by storm ages ago and proved that a series of novels with magic as a theme can make an impact on the world. That’s the model and the impact I’m trying to replicate here.
I’m not going to lie, I am a very skilled fantasy author. I will eventually make my own animated movies of my work but the goal there is to ensure there are movies set in my setting. I want another phenomenon. I want to make something people can fall in love with. I had a thought. I’m looking into making Engineering Plus, an Add-On pack I want for Minecraft. It won’t be hard I’m sure since I already now a bit of Java. Engineering Plus will take some brainstorming however because I want to do it right the first time.
Could I Minecraft Harry Potter? I’m going to have to look if someone’s already done it. I don’t mean the Harry Potter brand name, which by definition I don’t own. I mean wands and fantasy creatures and spells with cool names. You could make the wands out of wood and rare monster drops. I need some rare monsters in the pack as well. Wizard Plus might be a cool project. I might need to make a series of these with Wizard Plus as the second one in the series. I’m not doing the flying car. That one wouldn’t make sense in the game. Brooms though, we’ll see.

Hello. C J here. I've got four new recipes for everyone here. We have everything from Chinese chicken to homemade hot apple cider. Enjoy. The Emperor’s Potatoes Here we have the first food item I ever finished designing for Food of the World – Carthia. I tried three combinations of traditional Asian ingredients and pasta under the assumption that I was doing Italian-Chinese food for the book. I could not for the life of me get any of them to be exciting. They were fine. I don’t eat fine. I got bored of the pasta thing and then thought to myself, ‘what happens if I swap the pasta for another starch? What about a potato?’ It worked. Really well. It worked so well I named them The Emperor’s Potatoes. They’re mashed potatoes and I left the skins on because I like vitamins and then that got me thinking about the traditional medicinal food of Ancient China, ginger. Could I put ginger in a potato dish and have it work? Yes. I can. That surprised me. Be warned, these are almost dangerousl...
