Hello. C J here. It’s time for video game design news again. I’m switching my video game development projects over to GDevelop and I’m making plans to finally get started on my first game. This will be happening after Pride week and after I recover from Pride week. My main project is still the epic open world fantasy RPG Dragon Engine. This will be years away because I need most of the Quantum cards for the regions and locations done for the entire setting to be done first.
Dragon Engine is still actively being planned, the script is still being written and the crafting engine is still being designed in the background at all times. Quantum will speed up in terms of production speed once the core set is done. This leaves a number of other video game projects. Once I have some more understanding and design knowledge of the Hell setting region in the Legend Setting I’ll start on Duskbringer.
Duskbringer is going to be remarkably pleasant despite being set in the Legend Setting Hell setting region. Our character Dusk is for one a male anthro lion and is for two strongly a good person. His emotions and feelings are most of the game’s plot as he confronts the fact that the Watchers who run Hell and even the damned souls there working for them are happier than he is. The Watchers can’t leave Hell by the rules of the other gods and so they made it into a paradise for themselves. They grow their own wine grapes, for example.
Dusk has to learn that friendship can be found in the most unlikely of places as he meets, befriends and eventually saves beings like Makelith, the Ebon Prince, Lord of All Darkness and Lady Snow, Lady of Lust and Bearer of the Duchy of Iron. Makelith is also gay and has a boyfriend while Lady Lust is intersex with a preference for female pronouns. This planning process is going great and expect these characters to be lively and willing to speak to each other for most of the game’s script.
I need a project for now though. I thought first I should look into 3D asset making software and start making the modular ground, floor, roof, wall and foliage tiles I need to make the landscape, buildings and environments of the games. This is a project in itself and I will be using the textures I already have on hand for art of these biomes and locations. I’m posting a few of these textures at the end of this post. These are hand drawn digital mixed media, mostly chalk and oil pastel.
I had an idea though. The furry fandom are had to find. We often have to Google where to post our own art and meet people in the furry fandom itself. I can find great furry works of writing and art all over the internet but where do we hang out? My thought, build a digital art museum software. It will be furry themed and I might need to get one of the more powerful multiplayer plans from the GDevelop shop to make it work.
My thought is this. Give everyone access to my building tiles system including the ones for making houses and decorating them. People can make their own realm and decorate it however they want. Then they can put artwork on the walls and make an actual digital museum of their art or of a friend’s art, then invite people for a viewing. I’m adding realm-specific chat and the ability to download art right out of the app. This will be for Android and my planned price is $20.
I also want support for sharing writing and PDF format stories in digital book libraries. If anyone wants to sell realm design services, avatar design services, art commissions, writing commissions, or similar through it then go right ahead. Here’s those textures.

Hello. C J here. Walking down the streets of Haven is not always as safe as the city would like people to think. Yes, they have curbed the banditry that plagues the Southern half of the Coastal Road. The Desert Princes whose cities dot the Southern coast of the Southern Continent if anything make the problem worse for themselves with their constant rivalries and politics. So no, a traveller in Haven or in the River Lands is unlikely to meet a bandit or other criminal sort. But then there’s the walking dead to consider. Many of the basements, catacombs and landmarks of Haven have old foundations from before the city had its current name. In ages long past it was one of two competing capitols for the Desert Empire, both of which unified under the first Sand King of the Gold Dynasty, the God-Lion. It was never his place of residence and both the other capitol and the rest of the Desert Empire are long since buried under the dunes. Well, people like to assume they’re buried. People wo...
