My Plans After Quantum

Hello. C J here. The Core Rules of Legend – Quantum are done. I’ve made, for the first time in my company’s history, a list of what is done and what still needs doing. Legend – Quantum isn’t the only thing I have to work on. All products mentioned here are available in the Books download link or the Novels download link on those pages. Here’s what I have done forever.

Legend – Elements
The core tabletop game rule book that the Legend Series runs on, with rules for everything from building a castle to firing a rail gun off a star destroyer.

Legend – Astral
The official setting manual for the Astral and Legend Setting as a whole, with the complete master copy of the magic engine and additional rules for magic Traditions and races.

Legend – Dominion
The official tabletop miniatures game of the Astral and Legend setting, this game is 99% done and everything I need from it for the other games is done enough to use. It will be out later and there’s a free sample up for download.

Legend – Quantum Core Rules
The 90 core rule cards are done and ready to be made into printable PDFs.

Legend – Uprising Core Rules
The official fast-play card game uses a different dice engine but fills in the gaps that the other game lines don’t cover like houses, battle maps and combo moves.

Heart and Fur
The official slice of life anthro themed tabletop game is the other half of the core logic the game line runs on. It, along with its official setting expansion, are free for download.

Cooking With a Wolf
The cookbook I’ve spent most of my life building is done and just needs page borders and front cover art done.

Still To Do

These are the things I still need before the core rules and everything needed to use them are done.

Legend – Quantum Starter Set
The Starter Set has all the text I need written but still needs the player character art, for The Astral Ten, the opponent character art, for Heroes of the City, the food art, for Food of the City, the equipment art, for Ascalan Armoury, and the crafting ingredient art, for the Topaz and Ruby gems.

Legend – Uprising
A lot of content and art is done for the other card game but I need the final text for most of the cards done, then it’s a matter of making enough move cards so that all the items and characters have uses for their skills. I’ve been looking into the storytelling theme of finding magic in the normal modern day world and this might be where in the game line that idea needs to land. The moves could be about shopping, working retail and using the Internet. I’ll think about this.

Dragon Engine
The largest project I still haven’t finished is Dragon Engine, my video game. I’m making the 3D models for characters at present and the game will be released in stages as I get things done. I do not have a timeline yet on its first release. It will be on the Android store for $8.99 a copy.

That’s the list for now.

Let's All Be Friends, No Really - Part Two

Hello. C J here. I’ve updated my plans to make a Discord server for everyone here and on Facebook. Making a Discord server to my knowledge costs money. However, making a Facebook group does not. I’ve made a few of those over the years as well for various reasons. I’m going to look into this soon and then add the links here and in the menus here as well. I’m certain a Facebook group is what we need. I’m planning a number of chats within the group. So far my current plans are as follows. Art and Artwork Health and Wellness Food and Baking Magic and Spirituality Writing and Software NSFW I’m planning a private group but if I can get it open entry without a form or sign up page or anything. As for rules I’m going to reuse some from past of these I’ve done. Everyone is Welcome Be Polite Advertising is Allowed Follow the Content Ratings The Facebook group will take some planning but not any actual effort to build. It’s that simple. Thanks. C J Mcpherson

Chocolate and Barbecue Sauce and Truffles Oh My

Hello. C J here. I've got two new recipes for everyone today. I meant to type up a third but for the life of me I can't find the paper index card I wrote it down on. I will have to make it again and post it later once I double check I have the right proportions. I know what's in it but the proportions are done by taste. It's for Asian style ginger baked beans as part of my Asian-barbecue book I'm working on. The book might actually end up being cards for the card game because the recipes are so simple they fit in that format. That makes my job easier. Here's our two recipes for today. The first is a new Asian style barbecue sauce I invented from scratch. This isn't based on an existing sauce. It's the product of a lot of planning and research. It's great. The second recipe is for my final draft scratch made dark chocolate. This stuff is good. I still have some of the batch I made three days ago on hand. It's too tasty to eat. There will be a mil...

Four New Recipes for January

Hello. C J here. I've got four new recipes for everyone here. We have everything from Chinese chicken to homemade hot apple cider. Enjoy. The Emperor’s Potatoes Here we have the first food item I ever finished designing for Food of the World – Carthia. I tried three combinations of traditional Asian ingredients and pasta under the assumption that I was doing Italian-Chinese food for the book. I could not for the life of me get any of them to be exciting. They were fine. I don’t eat fine. I got bored of the pasta thing and then thought to myself, ‘what happens if I swap the pasta for another starch? What about a potato?’ It worked. Really well. It worked so well I named them The Emperor’s Potatoes. They’re mashed potatoes and I left the skins on because I like vitamins and then that got me thinking about the traditional medicinal food of Ancient China, ginger. Could I put ginger in a potato dish and have it work? Yes. I can. That surprised me. Be warned, these are almost dangerousl...
