Hello. C J here. A while ago I worked on a game called Legend – Uprising. I eventually decided that I didn’t have the time to finish Legend – Uprising despite the fact that the core rules work really well. Now that I’ve got the concept art and some of the final draft fountain pen art done for the Starter Set I’ve decided to look into Uprising again. The game is a lot easier to make than the Starter Set and is a deck builder city builder with skirmish combat. It’s also a free print your own card game. I’ve uploaded what I have to the Books download link.
I’ve reorganized the downloads in the Books page to account for the new product. I’m willing to use my concept art as final art for the product and I’m also willing to commission sets of card art from other artists in the fandom for it. I want everyone to get a say. The game is named Uprising because it can be made and played fast, unlike my other card game. I’m also going to continue looking into having people script and draw graphic novels for me but I’ve learned that putting the art and dialogue on cards, one image per page with no divisions or panels, is the easiest and cheapest way of doing it. I’m going to continue working on this today.

Hello. C J here. I read a lot of cookbooks. This is done mostly for fun. I’m currently reading a short but really interesting book about traditional Chinese cooking. The book was written by an Indian author who has clearly researched Chinese food very well but some of the translations of recipes or concepts get a bit strange. I’m currently done the soups and starters section and am onto the section labelled ‘food that is saucy.’ Cool? Is it also savvy? There’s a surprisingly large amount of ketchup in the recipes. No I don’t think I want a recipe for hot and sour soup that is thickened ketchup water with vinegar and a bit of cabbage. No I also don’t want to take a slice of white wonderbread, roll it into a tube, stuff it with canned corn, deep fry it and then top it with sesame seeds. What in God’s name do they eat in China? And why is it specifically an image of white wonderbread? China? Are you okay? I managed to take out the vinegar, water and corn starch that makes up most of the h...
