Hello. C J here. I’m currently working on two video games, Dragon Engine and Monad. I’ve realized that at this point I don’t have the time to make both this upcoming year so I’ll finish the core design on Dragon Engine before moving on to Monad. I like both. I will do both properly. I have what I need to know planned to make Dragon Engine and its art creation mode. After I’m done with the core game I’ll look into cute pixel art for fun. The planned price for this one is $8.99 on the Google Play store.
Dragon Engine will still contain the ability to customize one of the game’s maps and host it as a custom shared server world. This is to share art and text with friends or customers as well as to allow for a team to cooperate on an art project. All screenshots made in the game are legal for sale. Buying a character pack or world pack comes with the license to sell art and live footage of them. I’m hoping to provide this as an animation suite software just with video game style character customization instead of custom 3D modelling.
Sigil, the spirit world, is still on the list of Legend Setting regions to detail but there’s one of me. Normally at this point a company would hire a team. I don’t hire. I will never hire although I’ve got some great work on commission being made with a team. That’s a very different business model. The term contracting out is the normal industry term for commission work. Commission is the furry version of the idea. Dragon Engine is designed as a way of customers meeting people who do this kind of work, as well as a way of organizing in person events and activities.
Imagine having a shared server world styled after your hometown. Imagine this world is run by the local city government as a place to post in person events and news. People can log into Dragon Engine, pick their avatar and go hang out with locals and visitors in the world for their city in real life. There’s only enough of me to build one of this concept this year and I’m going with the one I’m already half way through. I’m hoping people meet friends on it. Goodness knows the world could use that these days.
Oh, right. It will be a fun game too.

Hello. C J here. Walking down the streets of Haven is not always as safe as the city would like people to think. Yes, they have curbed the banditry that plagues the Southern half of the Coastal Road. The Desert Princes whose cities dot the Southern coast of the Southern Continent if anything make the problem worse for themselves with their constant rivalries and politics. So no, a traveller in Haven or in the River Lands is unlikely to meet a bandit or other criminal sort. But then there’s the walking dead to consider. Many of the basements, catacombs and landmarks of Haven have old foundations from before the city had its current name. In ages long past it was one of two competing capitols for the Desert Empire, both of which unified under the first Sand King of the Gold Dynasty, the God-Lion. It was never his place of residence and both the other capitol and the rest of the Desert Empire are long since buried under the dunes. Well, people like to assume they’re buried. People wo...
