Impossible Skyline the Animation

Hello. C J here. I was out at a dvd and cd shop the other day as part of shopping and I overheard the cashier say that they have no sales and the economy of the city is horrible, especially for them. So I think 'okay, you're the only dvd shop still in the city. This city has money. What are you selling? Are furries not buying your stuff? We have money.' Then I checked out their list of titles. No, they don't have Lord of the Rings or Gilmore Girls or documentaries or popular TV shows or music video compilations. What do they have? Crud, that's what. Horror movies and nothing else. Like dumb ones. I walked through their asiles thinking 'okay, this one, white, heterosexual, male, sexist, stupid. This one, white, heterosexual, male, sexist, stupid. Okay, this other one, white, heterosexual, male, sexist, stupid. So these people have no money because they sell garbage no one wants. A furry, like me, would walk into this den of horror movie cult worship and walk ou...

Recipes - Chocolate Fillings and Ganache

Hello. C J here. Chocolate is a hard thing to understand. It’s food science at its most abstract and also at its most complex. Without factory additives and advanced technology it’s not possible to make at home. Not without a lot of chemistry and skill at fractions. I’ve been working on scratch made chocolate for about three years now and finally some of my homemade formulas worked. I’m going to specify here that I’m not melting down chocolate chips or using premade flavouring syrups. I’m doing this by hand in ratios with cocoa powder and milk. Here are the recipes. The only ones I don’t have working yet are the hard crack outer shell for dark, milk and white. These will come later. White Chocolate Cream 1/2 Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 Cup Icing Sugar For the White Chocolate Cream Combine the two ingredients in a bowl and mix with a fork for several minutes until the mixture is smooth and glossy. Eat within two weeks. White Chocolate Flavoured Cream 1/2 Cup Sweetened Condenses ...

Patreon is Live

Hello. C J here. I've finished setting up the Patreon to fund this art and writing project of mine. You can access it to support me in making novels and games as well as to sign up for the Partnership system and become a professional artist or writer with my setting and characters behind you. Find out more about that on the Partnership page. Here's the link to the Patreon. Patreon Link Thanks. C J Mcpherson

Food Notes - Ostracized Noodles

Hello. C J here. I'm trying once again to read that lovely Chinese cookbook. Here we have a recipe for chopsuey. I think. So, first you need noodles. What kind of noodles? Hell if I know. It just says noodles. You boil them. Then you refresh them in the cold. I'm sorry, what? Do you leave your noodles out in the cold weather? Are you trying to give them abandonment issues? Don't ostracize your noodles. Then coat them in cornstarch. Dear, dear, no. What? Cornstarch noodle paste made with an unspecified variety of wheat noodle. Then deep fry the noodles. Scrape and then shred your vegetables. If you don't know how to scrape a vegetable, well, I don't either. Stir fry the vegetables. Okay, normal food steps here. Stir fry. Good choice. Then add tomato ketchup. No. Not again. Then add 2 cups water and cornstarch. Cook. Serve hot. I'm sorry, what are we making? Tomato soup again apparently. I'm not making this one, for reference. Partly because I don't want ...

Patreon Progress and Updates

Hello. C J here. I just finished a round of Patreon setup. They've updated their systems since the last time I worked with them and everything's sleeker and more sophisticated. Also apparently I can sell digital products directly through their website. Amazing. Secret spoiler, I'm going to hand animate some of my own novels eventually. I might make them free to support the Patreon but apparently I could also sell them through Patreon if I wanted to instead. Amazing. Also amazing, I checked my payment methods. I need to add a new one but I found that I have a paycheck waiting for me to the tune of $375. Dear god. The page isn't even launched yet and I'm being paid for it. This is like a 10 on a scale of good things that could have happened to me today. $375. Okay. I need to like get that into my pocket and spend it on something nice. The page isn't even launched yet. Well, that went well. Also I should point out that the views here on these pages I can see in re...

Let's All Be Friends, No Really - Part Two

Hello. C J here. I’ve updated my plans to make a Discord server for everyone here and on Facebook. Making a Discord server to my knowledge costs money. However, making a Facebook group does not. I’ve made a few of those over the years as well for various reasons. I’m going to look into this soon and then add the links here and in the menus here as well. I’m certain a Facebook group is what we need. I’m planning a number of chats within the group. So far my current plans are as follows. Art and Artwork Health and Wellness Food and Baking Magic and Spirituality Writing and Software NSFW I’m planning a private group but if I can get it open entry without a form or sign up page or anything. As for rules I’m going to reuse some from past of these I’ve done. Everyone is Welcome Be Polite Advertising is Allowed Follow the Content Ratings The Facebook group will take some planning but not any actual effort to build. It’s that simple. Thanks. C J Mcpherson

The Road to Regency - Modern Day Backgrounds Part One

Hello. C J here. I’ve resumed drawing as of a couple days ago now that my vacation is over. My next project is to draw a set of interiors for the buildings of Ascala. These will appear on Regency cards. They’re used to map out locations as individual rooms that can be physically constructed out of cards. These cards need art and so that’s what I’m working on. Ascala will have a set of 20 of them that you can print yourself and use. Every one of the 40 worlds featured in the game will have a set. Here’s that art now. C J Mcpherson

Minecraft Experiments - Final Modern Day Buildings

Hello. I’m wrapping up my Minecraft experiments building replicas of the city and continent Ascala from my setting. Ascala is a vast modern day city within a modern day themed continent. Not everything in my setting is so advanced. I’m posting the final products of the Minecraft project here today and then starting work on the next one. Next on my list is to build structures and rooms from Tamaril. If you want to know more about Tamaril you can check out the Regency section of the free Downloads folder. It has everything there is to know about that high fantasy themed nation. Here’s the final photos. C J Mcpherson
