Hello. C J here. I’ve spent a while doing market research on my own. This has involved going to events, travelling around Ontario and using a lot of social media platforms. What I didn’t expect is that none of the social media platforms worked. I’m trying to put together a Halloween party on Facebook and no one’s even seen my posts. Facebook is just another in a long list of websites and apps that don’t have a user base anymore.
The two platforms that seem to have an audience are here and YouTube. I track my views here carefully and my most popular category has always been spirituality followed by Minecraft. YouTube is similar. Minecraft is its most popular category. So, where is everyone? As far as I can tell they’re fine. They’re all playing Minecraft Bedrock servers and meeting friends that way. They’re the only people on the internet I’ve seen who use the word friend that liberally for each other.
This post is something of a warning to the internet. There isn’t a community or user base outside Minecraft and its affiliate media. If you have an active Bedrock friends list and you get along with them, don’t think you need other social media. Dragon Engine is my attempt at making a second of these video games that bring people together. First though, I’m taking my plans for Monad and reworking them to make a Minecraft server. This may take a bit but then it’s friendship time. Just logging onto one of the servers with 10,000 active players an hour should do it though.

Hello. C J here. I read a lot of cookbooks. This is done mostly for fun. I’m currently reading a short but really interesting book about traditional Chinese cooking. The book was written by an Indian author who has clearly researched Chinese food very well but some of the translations of recipes or concepts get a bit strange. I’m currently done the soups and starters section and am onto the section labelled ‘food that is saucy.’ Cool? Is it also savvy? There’s a surprisingly large amount of ketchup in the recipes. No I don’t think I want a recipe for hot and sour soup that is thickened ketchup water with vinegar and a bit of cabbage. No I also don’t want to take a slice of white wonderbread, roll it into a tube, stuff it with canned corn, deep fry it and then top it with sesame seeds. What in God’s name do they eat in China? And why is it specifically an image of white wonderbread? China? Are you okay? I managed to take out the vinegar, water and corn starch that makes up most of the h...
